PS3 Slim sells 1 million in 3 weeks!

I know this is all anecdotal, or mostly a US thing, but every Best Buy, Walmart, Gamestop, etc.  I have been to over the last few weeks has had plenty of PS3 slims (0 phats remaining), and like only one or 2 Arcade 360s left and a bunch of Wii's.

Just the other day I was at walmart and there were like 10 PS3 Slims in the case and 1 Arcade 360 and like 15 Wii's.  I almost took a video with my cell phone but I knew it would just be anecdotal so I didn't.

Translation of what nightsurge is trying to say: "PS3s are overtracked and 360s are undertracked."

Nope, just giving my honest to goodness anecdotal evidence.  We all know PS3's sell a lot worse in the US than they do in other regions, so I'm just confirming that a bit.  Also my region of the US in particular always seems to be a heavily 360 favored zone.

I also would like to note that after reading the official statement it does not specify whether it is sold to retail or to consumer and even ioi is speculating based on the articles wording.  I do not doubt, however, sales in total since the Slim launched are at 1 million (including phats). 

Since you love to do so much research on your own, be sure to take a camera along with you next time and post these wonderful pictures ;) then confrim it.
