A lot of those "heart and soul" things were part of the complaints of the game UNTIL Chop Till You Drop came around. Now one save slot is "suddenly" important to the "stress" of the game (a game where you can throw CDs and shoot NERF balls at enemies). So I don't buy it. It just seems like an excuse to bash on that game.

It's not a mutilated port. "Mutilated" means the game wouldn't even be recognizable if it really was. And don't give me that "I'd still call it" crap. Ports are not up to personal definitions.

And the zombies are not dumber. You got that backwards. The zombies were given simplistic AI in the original DR to allow the number to be so high. This game uses smarter enemies, although only slightly smarter.

Sure some of this seems like nitpicking, but the game is unjustly bashed because of the belief it's supposed to be something it wasn't meant to be. As in gamers decided what Capcom was doing with the game and judged it on that, not what was actually done.

As for this game, is there GC controller support?

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
