The LHS of the dual shock is quite similar to a nunchuk in functionality (infact it's the same but with an added d pad) so that could certainly work.

badgenome - perhaps some form of peripheral could take care of that for you. The PShand

Functionality isn't the issue, its comfort and ease of use, you think most people are going to want to hold the controller one handed while manipulating the wand with the other?  It doesn't sound comfortable and will probably put off a lot of people.

i've just tried to hold DS3 with one hand, it's really not that different from holding a nunchuk (for adults).

for kids, maybe will be a little bit too big.  but i think the kiddy games will only require the wand.

they are not supposed to play FPS or TPS anyway.

Try boxing with a remote in one hand and the dualshock in the other

you box with two wands......

So for a four player game you might need 8 wands?

which Wii boxing game supports 4 players?

even 2 players will be too crowded to be tracked by PS Eye.  i think most of the boxing games on PS3 that utilize motion control will focus on online for the multiplayer mode.
