It's true. What's worse is, I decided to do the 12hrs 2nights ago by leaving the ps3 on all night when I woke up in the morning I found out my connection died at about 60% so I had to restart the console when I got back to the update, it went back to 0% because the update doesn't save any of what's been downloaded.
But luckily they released a patch the next day that fixes this so you should be able to update in installs instead of the full 12+ hrs slug.
PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.
