well, to be honest i have not followed the news on Final Fantasy XIII, very closely, because i don't like spoilers, but from the first trailers the game already seemed pretty much Final Fantasy VII-ish to me. it starts out in a big city, a small group of people fight against the local rulers, there were even a train and a mechanical scorpion kind of enemy.
thus for me, so far it is already the FFVII remake, at least in spirit.
But to give this whole thing some undeniable credibility, i am burn in JULY! (7th month) :D
