He's the second CEO (Marvelous CEO) to blame Nintendo for not releasing enough games this year. I never pictured that Nintendo games were the only games that can "MOVE" the industry forward. 

...Whats gonna happen next year with the 1st Party games that Nintendo plan to release, "We couldn't have any success on Nintendo's platform cause of the strength of there first party."

 

I think you misunderstand him here. He was explaining that "the recession was having only a limited effect on game sales." The reason for the large year over year drops is because Nintendo's explosive software has been absent (so far), rather than lower game sales all around.

He wasn't saying the industry is suffering because Nintendo hasn't been releasing games.


As for the new Wii, I disagree with him. I don't think the next console will be a multimedia center, nor do I think it'll come 2011 (as of now, 2012 is my bet).
