Cheap shot at Vitality Sensor. Come on, you know it will sell no matter what we think. As for the OP, its sounds like your wish for a good shooter on Wii has already been fulfilled with Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Star Fox would probably work best by sticking with it's original gameplay. If anything, Nintendo should create a new IP if they want to make a shooter. It should be somethng less serious and dark to counter a lot of the shooters on Xbox 360 and PS3. I've always thought No One Lives Forever would make a good transition to the Wii. Think about it, a female heroine + 60's spy comedy is great material for the Wii userbase. Monolith probably wouldn't want to make it, but they should. Still, if Nintendo made an FPS, I'd expect something close to that. |
Maybe a new IP. Nintendo just seems to like to teach an old dog new tricks instead of just getting a new dog. Here's a good compromise: Mario Paintball Arena! Mario is already in all their other games, why not an FPS?
