maybe graphically, and with some of the voice overs
i just replayed silent hill 2 last night, you could say the same thing
only thing is there are no current gen games like those games (homecoming dont count), so it to me makes them stand up better as there is no alternative
also dudes are still playin doom on 360, and it sure holds up better than that (tho i love doom dont get me wrong)
Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6). This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.
