Lower price (probably the best price the Wii will be at I think in terms of total Wiis sold from the price cut until the next one. They won't drop to $130/$150 and then $99 until MUUUUCH later.) = More sales and more sales = more and better games. Good for gamers.

You're right.  I just really wanted to see how the Wii did full priced with no shortages.

 

@ dolemit: The Wii was always relevant - even with a drop in sales YoY it's posting numbers that Sony could only dream of the PS3 doing.  Sorry for breakin' it to you but there was no way the PS3 was gonna outsell the Wii this holiday, price cut or no.  I suspect this price cut killed any notion you might've had about the PS3 topping Wii this holiday... ;)
