Ported games on the PS3 are selling up to 500,000 extra copies.

DQIX sold 3 MILLION in its first week and a half on the DS.  In just Japan.

The Wii is both more popular and has a higher userbase in Japan.  Plus its easier and cheaper to develop for, and it would cost more to port it to PS3 then it would be worth (different platforms).

They aren't porting it.

this is not necessary, where do you get that number from?

from OTHER 3rd party PS3 game sales in Japan?  then why not also talk about the 3rd party Wii game sales in Japan?
