MontanaHatchet said:Konami has announced 26 titles for the Wii this year, even if many of them are Virtual Console games.

Likewise, Konami has announced 3 PS3 titles for 2007, and 2 for 2008.

Try to get your facts straight next time.

In fact, Konami tried with Dewy's Adventure, and look where that got them!

Yeah, sorry, not buying this at all. 26 titles, almost all of which are Virtual Console games? Dewey's Adventure? Let's compare what's coming out from Konami for the Wii, to what's coming out from Konami for the PS3, shall we? All of these titles are taken from IGN's listing of future North American releases.

Wii
Indoor Sports (Nov 2007)
Pro Evolution Soccer (Q1 2008)

PS3
Silent Hill 5 (Jan 2008)
Metal Gear Online (Q1 2008)
Hellboy: The Science of Evil (June 2008)
Metal Gear Solid 4 (Q2 2008)
Coded Arms Assault (TBA)
Pro Evolution Soccer (TBA)

Hmm, interesting how that shapes up, isn't it? Funny how all of those "26 titles" turn out to be Virtual Console games from Konami's classic NES and SNES days. As far as actual new games go, both systems are due to get versions of this year's Pro Evolution Soccer title down the road (a sports game that gets ported to all consoles). Leaving that aside, the Wii is due to get "Indoor Spots", another crummy minigame collection. Meanwhile, Konami is sending the PS3 ALL of their premiere franchises: Silent Hill, two versions of Metal Gear Solid, Coded Arms Assault, etc. Come on, Montana. You can't possibly say that these are comparable lineups.

Please do not ask me to "get my facts straight" without putting some thought into your criticisms. I would never tell posters on this board not to buy a stock unless I was genuinely convinced that they were a poor financial prospect.
