so far we have the same responses the wii, its name & the wiimote got

SONY is set for domination with PS4 I guess

___________

@tridrakious

dunno but I'd love to see the CONSOLE ITSELF harbour an interface where you select the game through touchscreen panels (this can be optional)

Also the holographic image on the outside of the disc case which displays the game you are playing is VERY cool

unless you wanna hide you play Hannah Montana or something

Well I don't want people to know about that.

Anyway, I just don't think that is a very feasible design choice. You have a right to your opinion, but my opinion doesn't agree with yours. If they can make this work (very low failure rates and you know fuctionally works) then more power to them.

Something like this would cost both Sony and the consumer WAY to much money.

dunno, in 2015 will it cost so much to make?

I guess PS4 will launch for $399 with SONY making a loss of $100

who knows......maybe the hologram thing is too much to expect.....maybe that should be left for PS5

Even in 2015 do you honestly think hologram technology will be cheap.

Think about how much Blu-Ray and the Cell cost. They could just bring that tech from PS3 over and add more cores and an upgrade blu-ray disc. But a hologram display tech would be to much. The biggest problem is making this thing reliable. Something Sony is very great at, but this thing just doesn't seem possible.

Like I said if they can build it and it works and the customer can afford it with out 360 style failure rates (or worse) then more power to them.

true true

So lets leave the hologram for PS5

but do you think the console itself will be able to afford a "touch interface"......with the i-phone everyones going touch, byt then the technology should be relatively cheap.
