Anyway.
Ever played an action rpg, or just straight up RPG where you can mash A and win? And ever played one of those where, following the first few hours worth of easy enemies, it gets harder and you just can't do that anymore? Similar to that only a million times better thanks to the infinitely scaleable difficulty.
Literally, it gets to a point that even with a ingeniously selected roster of pins and a master of using bottom/top screen in concert where you simply will lose fights, and I am talking regular encounters here; end-game boss fights are in a league of their own.
