In equal conditions western shooters sell better on the 360 and J-games sell better on the PS3, other games it depends on the situation, like Assassin's Creed, GTAIV, Fifa, Madden and Batman Arkaham Asylum for example... Of course it could be exceptions, but as we know, exceptions confirm the rule...
Resident Evil 5 is a combination of survival horror and TPS, but it is a J-game after all (Capcom)...
