Blu-ray Players are overtaking DVD players....basically BD is taking over

in fact dvd`s now seem to have a jumble sale, flea market reputation about them.

my last 2 films were labarynth and evil dead 2 on bluray, they were £12.49 each, whilst the dvd premium versions retail for about £8.99 each. you can get them a little cheaper but there budget crappy releases anyway.

so even with cost its better to have a higher quality product that in turn is far more collectable to have in your library.

Thee is no reason to buy blurays actually...just as much as there is no reason to buy DVD's.

Rent blurays over DVD's...now thats an argument.

admittedly, i dont buy shed loads of blurays, like i used to do with dvd when i was younger, back then i just bought all sorts even budget ones to make a large collection.

i more or less wait for classic films to release and buy new worth keeping ones. if i did want to watch a film as in recently i borrowed uninvited from frind on dvd, it was just a watch once, but i wouldnt buy it on bluray if you know what i mean.

basically i wouldnt buy any more dvd to keep, as bluray is miles better, just check planet earth for proof now thats just awesome on BR.
