So? FF XIII and DQ IX aren't on the same systems either. What's your point?

And third party support doesn't suck in Japan for the Wii. What a stupid statement. MH3, Tales of Graces, SRW Neo, Samurai Warriors 3, FFCC: TCB, Sengoku Basara 3 (coming to PS3 but it'll sell better on the Wii just due to the fangirls) are just upcoming ones, not to mention Arc Rise Fantasia, Fragile, ToS: DotNW, and other games are out...

DQS sold 500k on a 2 mil userbase. DQ X will sell amazingly. It won't be out until like late 2011 anyway. Get over yourself.

I see portable's as something different than a home console, and my opinion about Third-party support is just an opinion. I love games like Muramasa, ToG, Arc rise of Fantasia and other niche games, but there are barely big games and even Nintendo has admitted that the Wii hasn't sold that good in Japan becuase there wasn't enough third-party support to fill the gaps.

The PSP and NDS have great third-party support, and the PS3 is slowly getting more and more support, while not great, it's considerable better than the Wii's support, and it seems that devolopers like Marvelous are going to switch consoles after those great sales for there games!

I repeat, it's the first generation in which a main FF and a main DQ are not on the same console, which is strange, weird or whatever you want, and the third-party support sucks in Japan for the Wii.

Obviously the core fanbase is there. Monster Hunter 3 beat the lifetime sales of the best selling PS3 game in Japan after only 2 weeks of sales. There's not really an argument for DQX selling better on PS3. FFXIII selling better on Wii however...

Yes it is awesome that the Monster Hunter franchise which is currently one of biggest franchises in Japan has outsold a game series which used to sell 800-900k on the PS2.

FFXIII will outsell day 1 the LTS of MHIII? Are you suggesting something?
