Either way Nintendo stock price is going to suffer becouse either they won't meet sales target or if they price drop they are going to miss their profit target for 2009.

Every company at some point before the cut makes it official, right now Nintendo doesn't seem to be preparing to do that, even with nine days left, so some are suspicious, I still think my theory is what is going to happen, so I expect there will be a sale pricing for the Wii sports bundle

Yes you theor also makes sense.

Altrough i would be sad if it did becouse it means i won't be able to buy second hand 100 euro Wii any time soon :)
