Nintendo: "Currently no plans" for Wii price cut

I can't belive people trust there will be no price cut because Nintendo doesn't confirm it.

Can you show single case in consoles history when price cut was announced by confirming rumor like that ?

Either way Nintendo stock price is going to suffer becouse either they won't meet sales target or if they price drop they are going to miss their profit target for 2009.
