So true.
While an HDTV is necessary for HD content, owning an HDTV does not necessitate HD content. Adoption of HDTVs opens the door to consumers getting HD content, but it doesn't instill them with an insatiable lust for pixels.
I agree with his opinion on Apple in the handheld space, though.
