I was quite surprised by how i've apparently taken to the game, according to Nintendo Channel stats at any rate. It got all the way up to rank 5 (and will probably pass rank 4, unless i find time to play Twilight Princess again, which is unlikely) in total playtime, past other games that i've had for years, and past Mario Kart Wii, one of the few other Wii games that i've ever extensively played online
It could end up my personal GoTY, despite the fact that i really wasn't expecting much from it when i bought it, and wasn't endlessly thrilled with the single player, but the statistics prove they have to have done something right (especially given how tenuous the online connections were). We'll have to see if NSMBWii can't have the same addictive effect.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
