^^^ It depends where you're looking. The Wii's been at 13k in Japan before, and is selling better now than then, its still doing reasonably well in Others, just kinda slacking in the US, and that's from not pushing their core games into public view enough, at least IMHO.
But yeah, there has to be a point where everyone who rushed out for the Wii craze would have a Wii. Now Nintendo needs to make moves to get those customers that are on the fence. The Blue Ocean thing worked well for them, but they've fished all the easy catches, now they need to improve the bait =)

I'd say I'm getting a HD system soon, but NY State just hit me for $6,000 in back taxes. =(
