By now, every vgchartz poster knows Japan is more and more all about handhelds, they´ve been moving away from consoles for quite some time now.
But as far as I know, it wasn´t always like this....both PS1 and PS2 did extremely good in the territory..so did the SNES, the NES....but in this 7th generation, consoles are so pathetic, sales wise, compared to handhelds.
Anyway, did this start happening by the end of the last generation?
