"If the price cut meant Nintendo LOSING money on sales, then that's when it's no longer Blue Ocean."
And it's still not in competition with the other consoles. It's in competition with public interest. If the price is getting in the way of that, then it would be a good idea for Nintendo to reduce that.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
