Sorry, I think there won't be an October conference anywhere. I re-read what Denise said and nowhere she says America, she says there won't be a media summit this year, so I guess it's worldwide.

She's  Nintendo of America's Vice President of Corporate Affairs. It's inherent in her job. She's not allowed to speak for the rest of the world. You should always assume she's talking about America unless she specifcally says otherwise.

Calm down. Not everything is doom and gloom for Nintendo.

But this was not expected and it's a very bad thing for us. Why the must always act like this!

You expected a big American conference this fall? Why would you? There hasn't been one in the past. Not sure why you'd expect one this year.

This does not in any way mean there won't be a Japan october conference or that there won't be a price cut/bundle. She's simply saying there aren't any huge game surprises for the holidays, and there won't be anymore game conferences in America this year. Notice how the game conferences she does mention (E3, Pax, etc..) were all in the U.S.?

Furthermore, if she was really serious that there would no more conference worldwide this year, then the Sept. 15 London event would be cancelled too. See? She's talking about America.
