PC by far, for many of the blatantly obvious reasons already mentioned by several people. But especially for the game catalogue: IMO, for every great game a console has, PC has five to ten more.
But then again, this isn't exactly a fair comparison. PC gaming has existed for decades with (almost) full BC, while consoles last for roughly five years each, and console BC has only been used in handhelds until recently.
