If you want to bring technical expertise into the debate to prop up the PC side, then we could turn the whole argument around and say that a real technological expert could modify a console to give it many of the advantages which a PC supposedly has. When talking about PC gaming, I mean the kind of gaming you get from a PC with a normal level of expertise, I think it's the only sensible way to approach the debate. And exclusives are relevant because they dictate the kind of games you can play on the respective platforms. When talking about gaming on a Nintendo console you don't just think of the hardware, you think of the games; it's part of the whole package. |
I higly doubt you will be able to mod your console to play gfx on better levels or use mods or any of that stuff outside of homebrews.
