Maths:

16 weeks left in the year, ~6 million left to narrow the gap to 2 million.That means the PS3 would have to outsell the 360 by the same margin it did this week (~370000), every week for the remainder of the year. 

Sep. 6 - Jan. 2 = 17 weeks. Why do you do his lowest number? Give him the benifit of the doubt and go with the highest. 4.84/17 = 284 a week. still wont happen though.
