Sorry but that's an appeal to emotion fallacy. Simply because you think it is over tracked doesn't mean it actually is. Same with say others that are stating it as under tracked. People can remain skeptical but of course if you are going to reason why you don't agree with the sales, personal emotions can not come betweent that judgement.
OP: It's clear that this is going to have corporate spin on this so it is very hard to go off numbers. People, understand if a corporationg ever gives a percentage rather than a number then it is obvious the percentage increases looks better than the number actually sold. Now I don't know how that is going to relate to us but it's very hard to go off something like this. Fallacy of suppressed information would be the official term for this.
Must say I love that I am taking a philosophy course as I always noticed these things people did but now I have words to make sure they know what they are doing wrong.
