You're right. The lousy distribution that the game has recieved demonstrates that. It's very uncharacteristic of a Nintendo game. Nintendo can push a game onto retailers if they want to, and they chose not to with MPT.
Metroid Prime Trilogy is a gift to the fans and a way to maintain the excitement of the franchise for next year's Other M.
