No it would do a lot like the PS3 price cuts will, a few weeks boosted high and then a fall back, but that is not what Nintendo needs, they need a sustained rise, and that will require software

I don't think so. Wii is already cheaper than PS3 so pricecut won't be as big deal.

So what if Wii is cheaper than PS3, its also overall more in demand than PS3, along ever demand curve there are always those who want the product but aren't willing to pay the current market price
