Do any of the Halo games deserve the popularity and critical acclaim?

I'm not sure where to start with this post. Um, well, I guess you're so wrong it's painful? That sounds good. Mostly in regards to the bolded. But I will say this too, ODST will NOT suck because of the graphics, graphics do not a good game make. Look at Killzone 2, that game sucked in spite of it's graphics. (of course that's my opinion, but I'm not on an island on that one)
