I think the worst place, that uses the most mod chips has to be south america, I live in Argentina, and I never seen at least here in Argentina one ps2 that doesnt have a mod chip O_O, and if you check out some selling sites here in argentina, mostly sell wii with a mod chip, and if it doesn't have the buyers demand it:P, it's not because we don't like nintendo or anything, but this is after all a 3rd world country, you cant compare economies to like canada or usa, so gamers here is like a must to have a mod chip. Just clearing things off.
