How Many People Bought the PS3 Slim As A Blu-Ray Player?

Yes, I know that as well. My concern is the best PS3 games ever didn't crack the TOP 20 mark and one of them was a bundle. Why weren't at least 100K copies of MGS4 or Killzone 2 sold out of the 500K+ PS3 Slims purchased? Software trackign could just be off... or who knows.  Haven't really looked at it.  Though yeah... when hardware spikes new software purchases usually do spike since people who buy a system buy multiple games right away usually... however that spike could of been equalized over a number of titles.

Which looking at the numbers seems to be the case.

Last week PS3 sold 1.44 million pieces of software

The week before it sold 1.23.  200 thousand titles more isn't too much to scoff at.  Though I do admit i would of expected that number to have been at least 500,000...

Maybe it was an exceptionally poor release week compared to last week.
