No, one of the more recent hands-on impressions from IGN said it was 30 fps...I don't think they've ever stated it was 60.

It doesn't really matter...60 fps could be nicer, but it's not going to matter much.  60 fps is nicer for fast games...30 fps is good enough for Mario.
