I havent played it so i cant speak to recreating th ebeatles experience.
But from what ive read and know of the beatles, it seems it does a good job of capturing how quickly they went from the Cavern in liverpool, and hopefully to clubs in hamburg where George was arrested for only being 17 and playing past curfew all the way to ed sullivan, the us tour, to japan and then australia and ending at shea and then apple all the while integrating never before heard sound snippets that will allow us to see the transformation of the band musically and personally.
So, for huge beatles fans liek myself, the songs alone are reason enough to freak out. But the info and story being crafted as you work from please, please me to help and onto rubber soul era songs where the beatles really shifted their art and taking it all the way to let it be on top of apple will be a neat journey and asthetically a fun experience to all of us who admire the beatles.
In short i guess, if you dont like the beatles enough to know more than a dozen songs you probably wont understand anyways.
