I hate how analysts keep pushing for price cuts, instead of forecasting they are just saying what they want and delaying sales in the process, even if Nintendo does a price cut, it will be next year, Christmas its at least 2million sales for sure, price cutting is just wasting money, and the Wii is still the best console in overall quality and price,

Not so anymore, the reason I say this is because with the wii being only 50 cheaper than the "tricked out" version of the 360 and the ps3, this makes the wii look "over-priced" in comparison.  The wii was looked at as a bargain at one time but come holiday shopping season and parents look at new technology and the price point across the big three, I think that the ps3 will be seen as the biggest value of the 3.  Hd gaming, free online play, integrated  wifi, blu-ray playback is just too much to combat with the notion of motion controls.  Hell even if you include the arcade in the equation the wii again looks over-priced and archaic versus the HD twins this holiday season (IMO).

The Gamecube got price cuted too, and that didnt change anything, it was as good as the xbox and the ps2 (it was actually better on my opinion) and yet it didnt boost the sales for more than a couple of months, to this date people who like games like wii sports, wii fit, mario kart and some of the big Nintendo games like Mario, Metroid and Fire Emblem dont have options nearly as good on the HD twins or the PC, why would they buy one then? people dont buy stuff just because they become cheaper, the sales are going to increase but its thanks to all the people holding back their money for the price cut rumors, and the wii still consumes less electricity than both the ps3 slim and the xbox 360, which somehow can make up for the price cut after 2 years of use lol (that last thing was just kidding)

Nintendo is the best videogames company ever!
