This was only a $50 price cut, so the surge wasn't as great as the PS3 Slim of course. As that was a huge $100 price cut.  Also, M$ didn't introduce any new hardware. Watch how much the XBox 360 surge after an XBox 360 Slim and Natal is released next year.  Should be interesting.

You do realize the 600% number quotes some xbox 360 models, (obviously refering to the arcade), then later corrects itself saying all variants of xbox360 only raised 100% when counting all models.

214% is still not even close to a 1000% increase reported in the uk for ps3slim this year.

I would be surprised if natal caused a surge in xbox 360 hardware sales, and even more surprised if they could make a slim version of the 360 without it overheating by next year.
