No, but I've worked in the business for like 12 years. I do own all 3 game consoles.

As for the price cut. The $599 -$499 was the 2nd price cut. The first one they dropped the price of the 60GB PS3 to $499 and then introduced the 120GB PS3 for $599. The 2nd price cut actually dropped the price from $599 - $499. Sales increased, but no where like the PS3 Slim.

And you cant be serious counting those as separate price cuts? Price cut = lower price. $499 --> $499 =/= lower price.
