This was only a $50 price cut, so the surge wasn't as great as the PS3 Slim of course. As that was a huge $100 price cut.  Also, M$ didn't introduce any new hardware. Watch how much the XBox 360 surge after an XBox 360 Slim and Natal is released next year.  Should be interesting.

360 slim keep dreaming, imagine how badly MS would screw up the hw design and how defecite it would be if they ever attmpted to make a smaller version.

Natal will sink sale's more then raise them.

Yeah.. the PS3 price cut before, wasn't really a price cut. They just got rid of one of the SKU's really. The system was still too high. If you don't think that M$ is looking at a Slim model of the XBox 360 after seeing the PS3 sales, you're crazy. lol!! A lot of people are excited about Natal, especially have the demos that were shown behind close doors to the media. As long as the price is right, it'll sell millions. With the $100 price cut Sony will definitely lose more money this year, but sell a lot of PS3's. Knid of a Catch 22,.

Big differance is Sony is competant at making hardware, MS is not.  Making things smaller will create problems, Prod2 the secong coming is that what you want ? Sony revised theor consoel twice before and did a good jab at it.  MS could have slimed the original xbox but did not even though PSone was a huge success.  Te lack the capabilities to make it happen.

PS3 hit a price point accesable for most, thats why its selling.  If it was just slim sales would barely raise any one with some common sense knows that.

Definitly lose more my ass, you dont know they will lose more any more then i know the winning numbers for the next lotto.
