UPDATE:

I've been having a conversation with the list creaator, and he just told me that he said the PS2 was quality hardware (three times) because his individual PS2 never failed despite accidentally being stepped on.

That's hard-hitting, analytical journalism right there.

That's brilliant.

My Gamecube got accidentally kicked over twice while running games with no harm to the hardware or software and the game proceeded as if nothing happened. Therefore the Gamecube should be #1 on this list.

Anyway, my top consoles list is better.

Back when I used to get Nintendo Power, a couple of people wrote letters to the editor to thank Nintendo for making the SNES so sturdy.  One letter said that his SNES got thrown out a second story window like a frisbee, and still worked afterwards.  Another letter said that his house burned down, and one of the few things they were able to salvage was a charred, but still working, SNES.  Not all the games survived, but a few still worked.

Therefore, the SNES should be number one.
