Patapon 2 was $20 for UMD as well as digital download. Although there will be significant savings with downloadable titles, I doubt the publishers will pass those savings onto the consumers. Also, I don't think there will be a trade-in program for UMD's. If you want to continue to play your UMD's, you should plan on buying a UMD based PSP. That being said, the PSPGo is very tempting.

You are correct. I had read inverted's post as saying the retail version was $49.99. I don't think this is an indication that Sony will undercut retailers by offering digital copies for less.
