@ Starcraft

I never claimed with anything like 100% certainty that MGS4 would be on the Xbox 360.

I am not going to argue with you about this, I will just quote you from 2 years ago.

Starcraft (from 2007):
"Honestly, do you actually believe 360 wont see a port of MGS4 in the next 2 yrs? It might come really late, it might come on two discs, it might have frame rate issues but it IS coming. Short of the PS3 shifting 15million consoles this holiday season, the 360 will be running MGS4"

argument YOU used against this was the game's size, even though most know that would not be an obstacle and multiple disks are perfectly acceptable. Final Fantasy XIII proves this.

It's an obstackle potentially affecting game design. Unlike you I didn't say it will or won''t happen, just that I considered this to be unlikely.

your recognition that supposed extra power will not help the console in it's struggle against the Xbox 360 is a major step forward for you, and I applaud you for it.

Thanks, but no thanks. I hold a much wider view on system power than you, for example with regard to fill rate the PS3 and 360 are very similar, but there's so much more to system power than just that. Like I always said the PS3's major core technical advantages lie in the Cell processor, Blu-Ray capacity and default harddrive and how they fit into the system as a whole. The technical gap is IMO big and this will show more and more as time goes on.

Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."
