As you know I am mostly a tech enthusiast and thus interested in the PS3. I never owned a PS2, would prefer Philips over Sony if there was a choice with all things equal, etc. I am not really a games console or Sony fanboy

Nice try.  My madness statement was obviously refering to how you conduct yourself in general and gave a link to amiagworld.net, where you were behaving similarly.  Its such madness that has earned you multiple bans in multiple places.  But sure, go ahead and try to tie it to something else, its nothing new for you.

"Blind fanboy mission".  You just keep hoping that will stick.  Amusing.  What was I doing right before I was on here, ah yes updating my PS3 to 3.0 firmware and was about to pop Underworld: Rise of the Lycans (Blu-ray) in.  Gosh, I am quite the Xbox fanboy there aren't I?  Should I sell my Sony stock now too?

In regard to PS2, you became a Sony fanboy starting with the PS3, so what?  When you became a Sony fanboy is irrelevant, you are one now.  In regard to Philips, they don't make a console, so thats not even a point of discussion.
