PS3 to Close GAP With 360 (Yearly sales) within 4 Weeks!

And please tell me you do know the recent ps3 slim sales won't last, they are high at the moment because the slim is a new product out with a bit of hype around it, when this settles down sales will fall again although they will be higher than what ps3 was at before, then the holiday season will be here where the 360 will once again sail past the ps3 just like last year,

Yeah, but what he said was right. Chances are, the PS3 will sell more this year. Even with a slim increase, it is just not on the same level, especially with 150k in Japan, compared with about 2k for the last few weeks. The long term effects will be more interesting, but Gran Turismo 5 and FF XIII will be enough to let the PS3 beat the 360 this year. The holiday season is starting, the start of September is a great time for a price cut and new model, and I really do think the PS3 will win this year, even if it does not erode the gap down much

Looking at it that way it makes more sense but I still think some people are predicting things way too early, noone knows how the slim will keep selling for the next few weeks and months, something like this (slim release) has never been done at this stage of a generation before, hard to know what to expect from all three console makers...
