Yes it's true, italy is a Sony country, you can find everywhere someone who thinks still that ps3 is the most sold console of this gen, or tell you that you must buy that just because of the BR player that the other 2 consoles don't have. I mean, it's true, but is a Sony fanboys's country, and is speaking someone who lives there :)
