Does the PS3 have the best 2010 lineup?

Anyway, lol, yeah, the PS3 list is derivitive as well. Big games usually are.

They mostly suck! The reviewers form a circle, jerk over the title of a game and thereby pushing the rating up. Then little old me decides to rent it to see what the critics were raving about and 9/10 times it was crap!! However I find sequels are often better than the originals despite lower ratings overall.

I thought the controls in ICO were total ^&*(( and I stopped playing it. Coming from a PC gaming background I cannot stand controls which I don't feel comfortable with.

I thought Okami was crap too. I was completely uninterested in the gameplay.

I don't care whether a game is innovative or derivative. I will play them on their merits and I give no bonus points unless the 'new innovative' stuff actually works.

 

Thanks for this post. After reading it I don't feel obliged to get hold of ICO, SotC or Okami anymore (they're always out of stock). But Ill still check em out if they come in a future collection pack with upscaled resolution though.
