The game is far from average. It is a good game, not average. How about you go play it before you make conclusions. Also I enjoyed this game MUCH more than I did any old-styled resident evil and I have all the ports and remake for the gamecube. If you want to talk about clunky controls, go replay those games. They DEFINITELY didn't age well.
