It used to be that an arcade experience such as the first one, or Starfox could be full price and no one thought twice about it. But now that different pricing structures for different types of products exist, can a one to two hour game really be full priced and it be justified? Hmm, though I guess looking at the sales of other on rails shooters on the wii, there is a market willing to pay for that kind of experience.

I guess what I'm saying is, as much as I adore the original I probably won't buy this at full price unless it is considerably more substantial than the original.

Well, the whole point of those games is replayability. God knows how many times I beat Starfox 64, for instance, and I've beaten Sin and Punishment quite a few times too.

Arcade Any style can still be justified - it just has to be very, very good.
