I highlight negatives when others (often blindly) overlook them.  That is not being negative, more just being thorough.

The point of a game isn't to thorougly criticize it and evaluate it for flaws.

Everything has flaws.

If a game is so good, that its flaws cease to matter, then you should overlook them, not dwell on them.

Even as a reviewer, brief mentions of notable flaws in an otherwise fantastic game are all that is requisite.

Unless your point is to be negative and cynical, in which case, no one should believe your reviews anyway.
