Here are 360 version screenshotsa of FF13. OP has just hid under a table.

That first picture is the same picture they showed back in 2006 when there was no 360 version. I wouldn't use that as an example...

Enough of this.

Are you still standing by those initial screenshots posted earlier in the thread?

Why?

CGI, check this out. Those shots aren't evidence. There are tons of variables that all of us are completely ignorant about, and clinging to them in the face of evidence to the contrary makes you seem like an ideologue, who is not attempting to understand the other side of the argument.

What we have learned so far is this:

1. Those screens initially posted aren't the final screenshots of the game.

2. The screens from 360 gameplay posted on most sites on the internet seem to indicate that the game looks much better than said cherrypicked shot indicates.

3. We are uncertain of the timeframe of the original screenshots in question, even to the point of which one was released first, due to the demo that Garnett pointed out.

4. we are unaware of the hardware from which either of those screens are pulled. We don't know that the games won't look better/worse depending on the console you buy them for. Many PS3 games look worse on the PS3. Perhaps XIII will look better.

5. We don't even know if they are both gameplay.

6. As the MGS4 mention pointed out, developers will often released worse looking screens later in the development cycle. Often, like with MGS4, those worse looking screens look better when the game is finally polished. Sometimes they don't, and sometimes the original screens were prerendered promises that were never possible, or bullshots.

What we don't know, could fill an ocean, and clinging to those shots as absolute evidence, to bash Square about the game isn't fair.

Check this out. I'm VERY glad FFXIII is on the 360 More people will get to play the game. I wish it was on the Wii as well. I don't care what sacrafices they have to make. A great game is a great game, and hair texture doesn't change that. Furthermore, to wish that a game would have stayed exclusive simply because it would give you a slightly better experience is ultimately selfish. The only valid reason one would want this game exclusively, that isn't selfish, is because its exclusivity would have been a huge boon for Sony, and a dagger in the heart of Microsoft. Instead those tables have turned, and now, you wish the game would have stayed exclusive, and feel very bitter over its refusal to do so.

I understand that.

What I don't understand, is this childish selfiishness that makes people feel they have the right to whine, because they had to give up something relatively insignificant, so that 30 million people would have the right to share the fun they are experiencing with the most anticipated game this generation.

Without some sort of Sony fandom going on in one's head, those thoughts are so selfish, they are sickening to me.

That said, there is nothing to be done. I've had my way, and I'm done. The game is coming out on the Xbox 360, and you can take it for what it is, or you can skip it, but I doubt you will. Just live well in the knowning that millions more people will derive happiness because of this move, than will loathe it.

All this little screenshot boulstering, as ignorant as we are about their origins, proves nothing, except out own ignorance. I suggest we give it a rest.
